Where is the centre of a structure?

If it is not simply its most connected part, the centre is set by the structure's relationships and parameters — and that still needs a definition.

Q.39 October 2026seedopen question

The most connected node is one measure of centrality, and there are others — closeness, betweenness — each answering a different question. None of them is the same as the centre of all the relationships and parameters in a structure.

That relational centre is an open formalisation problem. The Map on this site keeps the node you are looking at, the middle of the screen and its measures of connection separate, and shows none of them as the centre.
